Wilder Places is a series of one-of-a-kind woodcut collages made from original prints on Eastern and Western printmaking papers — Japanese kozo, BFK, and others — layered, torn, and reassembled into something new. The imagery is drawn from the natural world: leaves, vines, root systems, the tangled geometry of growth. Working in black, white, and gray, the collages have a graphic intensity that rewards close looking — each layer of paper adding depth and texture that no single print could achieve alone.
